… Quite a fun individual-level platforming game. Obviously quite inspired by old-school 2D Sonic games and Meat Boy, but Panic Porcupine brings a lot of character of its own and definitely feels more modern. The first few worlds are quite relaxing and help you learn the basics and some movement tricks, but then the later worlds really ramp up! Visually it is nice, and the music is also complementary to the game. It may feel a bit rough at first, but when we beat the final boss with all the eggs it was clear that if it were still a bit confusing, we wouldn’t have been able to beat it since the final boss requires a good handle on all of the gimmicks and obstacles. So, a bit of a learning curve, but it’s a solid experience worth the price!
